For the first time in Thailand, Naresuan University and private company debuted developed research regarding CHANGKRA scented cosmetic.

At the faculty of pharmacy, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, .Prof. Dr. Sujin  Jinahyon,  President of Naresuan University, Mr. Prinya Panthong, Vice President for Asset Management, Assoc.Prof.Dr.Neti Waranuch, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kornkanok Ingkaninan, Faculty of Pharmacy, Naresuan University, and Pharmacist Charnchai Udomlarptham, CEO of RX Company made a statement regarding  the “CHANGKRA scented cosmetics”, from the innovation of Naresuan University to the new product in the market.  

Prof. Dr. Sujin  Jinahyon  said that “CHANGKRA scented cosmetics” is the research of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Neti Waranuch, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kornkanok Ingkaninan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pinyupa Plianbangchang. The series of CHANGKRA cosmetic consists of 6 products: hand gel, hand lotion, day cream, night cream, eye serum and body lotion. What concern us is   the rare raw material, Changkra orchid. As a consequence we are Increasing the propagation of Changkra orchid for the manufacturing.    

Assoc.Prof.Dr.Neti Waranuch, Head of Cosmetic & Natural Product Research Center, Naresuan University said “The research center extracts the distinctive essential oil from Changkra orchid, which has unique fragrance and is composed of Astaxanthin. This essential oil is the main ingredient of CHANGKRA cosmetics, which can enhance the beauty of your skin. ”

Astaxanthin molecule is a part of Vitamin A. It is mostly found in microalgae and is beneficial for skin health in several aspects. Astaxanthin is a unique antioxidant with properties that enable it to provide protection throughout the entire cell.  Vitamin A not only induces the stimulation and division of epidermis cell, but it also shrinks wrinkle. Thus CHANGKRA cosmetic will unlock the charm of beauty inside you.

This research is considered the first discovery in Thailand and also the first time for private company to develop this research to be a healthcare and beauty product without any side effect.
